Hello, I’m Erin
Sometimes the message society gives us about our journey through life doesn’t match what is actually happening and that can be confusing and overwhelming.
I help people who feel lost after life upheavals understand who they are and what they want.
I work with people who’ve spent years caring for others but don’t know who they are anymore.
Do you need:
Permission to think about yourself?
Validation that your exhaustion makes sense.
Space to explore who you are beyond your role?
Guidance for navigating identity shifts?
Emotional grounding during overwhelming transitions?
Since 2021, I have been counselling clients who have reached out for support with; sleep disorders, perimenopause, anxiety & depression, personality disorders & psychosis, suicidal/homicidal ideation, complex trauma, relationship breakdowns, grief & loss, pregnancy loss, postpartum challenges and substance use.
Prior to that, I spent six years working in nursing and midwifery within the hospital system & in the community. I provided midwifery support during pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period to women and their families. I provided general practice nursing support in Community Controlled Aboriginal Medical Services and at a harm reduction Drug and Alcohol Service.
Drawing from my knowledge & skills from over 10 years of counselling, nursing and midwifery experience, I provide compassionate and non-judgmental counselling support to people that is trauma informed, neuroaffirming and strengths based.
My aim is to meet people where they are at by being person centered and non-judgmental in my approach.
My therapy style is empathetic, grounded, and deeply human. I value compassion, connection & hope.
You have a story and I want to hear it.

As counsellors are not able to offer Medicare rebates under a mental health care plan, we aim to keep session fees affordable. This supports people to attend counselling regularly and not be restricted to a certain number sessions each year.
By not being part of Medicare, you do not require a mental health diagnosis to attend counselling, there is no record of your attendance on your medical record and we can explore a wider variety of therapy modalities to support your goals.
There is no wait list. You can book a consultation here, for appointments online via Zoom.
The frequency of counselling sessions will depend on your individual needs and goals. Some clients may benefit from a one off session or weekly sessions, while others may attend fortnightly or monthly or as required.
To develop the working relationships and set goals for therapy, it is recommended to attend fortnightly sessions initially and then see what works best for your situation.
